IGNOU has approached EdCIL with an aim of establishing a 24X7 student assistance system. After initial discussion it was evident that IGNOU has a massive network of students study centres, regional centres and enrolled students for which an extensive information and support structure is required so that the flow of data can be streamlined across all channels.
The research study is aimed at understanding the existing information and support structure of IGNOU and proposing a feasible solution that can help in integrating the data which can be put to an efficient use.
