Chaudhary Charan Singh University was formerly known as Meerut University. The University was established in 1965 with the objective of catering the needs of higher education in the state of Uttar Pradesh in western part.
The University has celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 1991. Now the University has become one of the premier educational institutions of India. It has a vast, beautiful and pollution-free campus covers 222 acres of land.
