Salman Rushdie, winner of the Man Booker Prize, will present the Trinity University DeCoursey Lecture for the 2011-2012 academic year at 7:30 pm Monday, Nov. 7, in Laurie Auditorium. The presentation is free and open to the public
Salman Rushdie is the author of nine previous novels: Grimus; Midnight’s Children (which was awarded the Booker Prize in 1981 and, in 1993, was judged to be the “Booker of Bookers,” the best novel to have won that prize in its first twenty-five years).
